Following the cancellation of our match scheduled for this Saturday against AFC Bedfont Green, it has been announced that they have actually dropped out of the League.
This leaves Division 1 with only ten teams.

13.11.14: Night out at Woking v Wrexham
Thirteen of the lads went to see Woking 1, Wrexham 1. It wasn't a great game and the wet weather didn't help, but everyone enjoyed it. This was also a fundraising night for the club which netted an excellent three-figure sum.
Shame for Ben Bryant who had a bet on six matches, all of which came in ... except for Woking. Stood to win £250.

A huge vote of thanks to Steve Hill who virtually single-handedly raised £100 for the Club at a car boot sale on Sunday morning. He's got some stuff left so there might be another one in due course. It would be nice if he got more help in future.

10.09.14: Night out at Aldershot Town
Eleven of the lads went to see Aldershot Town 0, Woking 1. It was a really poor game, illuminated only by Giuseppe Sole's free-kick winner. This was also a fundraising night for the club which netted a decent amount.
Some of the lads enjoy a night at Aldershot Town where Woking won a drab affair 1-0.

We're having an evening out on 9 September to watch Aldershot Town v. Woking at The Rec, or whatever Aldershot call their ground these days. We have a "deal" so it will cost less than the £17 that The Shots like to charge people to stand and watch their games!

22.08.14: Training update
We have now finished our pre-season training at Shalford Park.
There will be no training on Thursday 28th August.
We are then reverting to training every Thursday commencing 4th September at the Surrey Sports Park from 8.30-9.30pm.
Please note that we are moving to the 3G Pitch on AGP1 Pitch C.
Training will continue until 26th March 2015.

Weysiders Football Club exists to provide the necessary facilities to afford members of the Club
the chance to enjoy playing football in Guildford (or nearby) in an affiliated League. The Club will seek to play at the highest level it can sustain. The Club shall be a mutual organisation, run by the

We have a long association with Guilfest as organiser Tony Scott is a Weysiders old boy. Thus, I have no qualms about promoting Guilfest 2014.
